This letter is to show my support for Strive, Inc.
I work in the Parks & Recreation field as a Recreation Program Coordinator. I oversee many summer day camps and Strive, Inc. has been a great resource for me when planning these programs. I have depended on Strive, Inc. for information and advice regarding people of all abilities and how I can make sure the summer camps we offer are inclusive.

I wanted to inform you of how beneficial Strive has been to numerous patients at my facility. My position is the Activity Director/ Recreational Therapist at a 165 bed skilled facility/ sub-acute rehabilitation facility in West Bloomfield, MI. Strive was introduced to me a few years back and initially I did not take interest in the program that was being offered. However, little did I know how extremely valuable Strive would be to some of the patients here at my facility. I have referred numerous patients that are here under workman’s compensation or auto insurance.

This is a letter of support for the STRIVE non-profit organization. STRIVE collaborates with local parks and recreation departments to increase resources for their clients. Currently, the Oak Park Recreation Department collaborates with STRIVE to offer trips for individuals with disabilities to local area events as Detroit Piston Basketball games, Detroit Red Wing Hockey games, Disney on Ice Shows, and others.
